Wonderful, Wonderful home. Close to everything. Home opens up to a beautiful courtyard with lovely pool. A cooks delight kitchen. Fully stocked and ready to go. Our housekeeper kept us clean and the casa spotless. No bad days here. Would recommend to anyone. Kathy represented this Casa perfectly and was a dream to work with. She recommended wonderful places to eat and see. A must for your list when planning a trip to Loreto. We will be back soon.

In our wildest dreams, we never imagined having a property manager so wonderful! Kathy's recommendations for restaurants and outings were exactly right. Kathy was very responsive before, during and after our trip. We hope to go to Loreto again next year because of Kathy.

Wonderful, charming, spacious cottage in the historic fishing village of Loreto. We loved this vacation! The cottage kitchen was well equipped, the beds as comfortable as my expensive mattress at home - I slept fantastic after enjoying the best made-from- scratch Mexican food in town. Numerous authentic Mexican places to eat a short walk away in town. This casa has a great location to easily walk to the marina and historic district in town. We enjoyed the pool just steps from the front of the cottage. We also enjoyed shopping at the various markets and again were able to walk easily to every desired destination. We rented a jeep one day to explore the interesting and beautiful surrounding area. Also rented the EL DON for three nights - fantastic! Gary Noland, owner was informative and organized - cottage clean, keys ready upon arrival! Hope to enjoy a vacation there again soon. Sandra Bierling, Colorado Springs, CO

Our family stayed in Casa # 3 for 3 nights. It is the perfect size for a family of 6. The house is comfortable, nicely furnished, and well-located. There is a great backyard with large tables and lounge chairs and a fountain, and a really nice balcony upstairs. We also enjoyed the pool right in front of the house. Gwyn

"Funshine" The clean, compact, fully equipped unit was centarl to all we needed in Loreto. I hate to see this sleepy fishing town grow. It was nice to visit Mita Gourmet - oh, the guitar music and the great food - La Palappa and Pancho and Martina's. We are two retirees who have gone around the world a couple of times but keep returning to Loreto.

Kathy was very helpful with ideas of things to do. The place was comfortable and the price was unbeatable! We went during a hot time, but the ac was nice in the room if you kept the door shut! It is a little bit of a walk when it's hot out, but at night it is refreshing and realistically only about 10 blocks or less. I would stay here again but during a cooler time:)

This is a nice casita. It fits one perfectly and two a bit cozily, but that's okay because the malecon and beach are just a few minutes stroll away and you can hang out there. It's a 15 minute walk to the main drag where the bulk of the restaurants and shops are, but if you spend some time exploring the streets around the apartment, you'll find enough little tiendas - convenience stores, bakeries, tortillerillas - to satisfy your basic needs. If you walk to the main drag along the beach, it doesn't seem that far at all. Kathy provided all the basics and the apartment was very clean and comfortable.

This was a nice little place, fitted out with everything we needed. Well appointed, it was located beyond the malecon, which made us do the daily walk we needed during our stay.

Kathy was a wonderful host who went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Her husband booked snorkeling, fishing and squiding expeditions for us with locals who they knew and we slayed 'em fishing when others were getting skunked. Kathy was our guide on a trip to San Javier- a must do when there. Also, don't take the paved road, take the riverbed in your rental, much better. She booked all our excursions for us, priced well and very successful. we'd do it again.

"A haven of peace" Such a good idea. We have always rented in Europe for our holidays and took a gamble renting in Mexico! What a relief to find the same type of quality in Loretto. We spent just under a week relaxing and getting our feet before going kayaking. This was an ideal base. The accommodation is just right for two people and the bed is sooo cosy. It gave us a chance to make our own food from the local produce. Missing it already. Thanks Kathy.

"The right place for the right price" I found Loreto Rentals via an online search. I'm glad I chose it as I was staying there for a full month to try to thaw out from being in alaska. The Contreras apartments were perfect for me. Furnished with a comfy bed and living spaces including the kitchen it was just right. Loreto has a lot to offer. It is smack in the middle of the Baja Peninsula, so you can drive anywhere you want to and see some awesome sights. The San Javier Mission was peaceful and the drive there is fun as it winds up through the mountains. There is a nice little canyon hike there that starts with cave paintings. I did that one on my own. Sea kayaking and tagging turtles for data on how they are doing (my contact for the sea turtle tagging was Pancho Mayoral) in the Sea of Cortez are just a couple of the activities you can do in Loreto.

The home is perfect in every way. Well furnished, clean, a fully equipped kitchen, and lots of room. The daily housekeeping was so appreciated - she would even do our laundry. Her name is Ramona and she is worth her weight in gold. She even walked us to our van and waved good-bye. Kathy, the rental agent is on top of everything and was so helpful when we needed information. Don't miss out on this home and the staff and Kathy Hill.

Lovely, lovely, spacious home near the heart of town and just a block off the beach. Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and comfortable setting. One thing to note is that the beds are extra firm.

I found the apartment clean and fully functional for at least two people to stay in. It is close to the waterfront and is only walking distance to anywhere in town. Kathy made my experience a memorable one. If I needed more towels, she brought me her own towels. If someone needed chairs for their suite, she brought her own chairs. Kathy was very accomodating to her guests and has a guinine concern for her guests comfort. I would recommed this apartment complex for a single or for a couple.

This was a dreamy spacious retreat for us as a couple, and the little house is big enough that it would have also worked for a couple with 1-2 kids since it really is two big rooms plus a very serviceable kitchen (indeed I recommended it to friends with an 8 year old son) I hadn't fully realized before arriving that the little house is part of a larger compound, but there was abundant privacy & the walled compound doubtless made us more secure, and the compound owners are charming and full of useful info., plus they very generously invited us to use the fabulous grill and outdoor dining table in another corner of the compound (a greatly renovated complex from a former small boatyard). All-in-all, I thoroughly recommend this for others seeking a simple, easy, fun & well appointed getaway...& both the hosts and their friends plus Cathy were full of useful info about the best places to go for food, beach, boating etc. In other words, a rustic 4 star ****

Hi Kathy, We had a wonderful time in Loreto! I am looking at my funny skeleton lady with the orange feathers we bought in your store right now. Frank and I had a wonderful, realxing time in Loreto, and the Hugo House was the perfect place for us to stay for that. We really think it is the best place to stay in Loreto for a number of reasons. One is that it is in the first block off the malecon and the beach, and we like to get up early each morning for a walk on the beach to watch the sun rise over the mountains on Carmen Island - spectacular! We also like that it is far enough off of the malecon to be quiet and is only a few blocks from the plaza, so shopping and restaurants are all within a short walk. Chuco's store is just across the street for quick shopping for items like ice, juice, and the most wonderful little tamales that we like to eat for breakfast. Jose (who comes each day) is great fun to talk to and was available for trips to Coronado and fi

This spacious, comfortable, attractive home, with its many outside amenities, was perfect for our family of 14 (with 2 more at a near-by home) across 3 generations. We appreciated the house-keeping and laundry services that came with the rental and also hired a local Mexican woman, and her daughter, who prepared and served excellent comida mexicana for us each night. All in all a wonderful, relaxing, fun time in Loreto, where we felt safe and welcomed by all we met.

We had such a nice time in your place here! Thanks for tending to all the details. It was great to have cleaning supplies, clean towels, sheets, etc. Having the coffee maker and bean grinder was best of all!
