Great place! 2 bed, 2.5 bath with a small patio out front. The pool and gardens were beautiful and well maintained. The units are in good shape and we loved staying here. The area is very quiet and we felt very safe. The neighbors were friendly both in the complex and out on the street. Kathy and her staff were great and very responsive to any of our needs. We would highly recommend you considering a stay here in Noplo and at the Olive Tree! Al, Debbie and Cooper (our Norwich Terrier). White Rock, BC Canada

What a treat! My wife and I started our 6 month travels throughout Mexico in Loreto in Hugo's House. To start, Kathy was fantastic to deal with over email as we were trying to find a place to stay from Canada online. She gave us directions and when we arrived we were simply blown away. Location, location, location! Hugo's house was a block away from the main ocean front away from the noise of the busy street, but close enough to enjoy all that it had to offer. Hugo's house had everything we needed from a kitchen, hot showers, TV, and the most beautiful outdoor patio/seating area. About a week into our stay the owners Leslie and Geoff arrived at there house across the way. We can't say enough about there welcoming spirit and friendship throughout the rest of our stay. From giving advice for the rest of our trip, to a day outing with them to San Javier (still one of our favorite things we've done so far), they both were amazing people and we can't thank them enough for everything th

Hi Kathy Just wanted to thank you and Monie for a beautiful home for us to stay in. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the house and pool - great location! We got in two nice snorkle trips and finally got to see dolphins on our second trip out to Carmen. The boys even caught a couple of nice little dorodos! Already looking forward to another trip to Loreto - it is just so beautiful. Hoping to come in the spring next time to see the whales! Thanks for the help with the tv and internet! You were great to work with. Not many people would have braved that rain storm. Take care and thanks so much! Patti & Michael

Several months after our trip we are still showing images to friends of our trip to Loreto. We start with the oasis in an oasis that is Leslie's studio in Loreto. After a couple years of anticipation, the apartment was better than we dreamed. The grounds, the neighbors, the location, are all, well, I've run out of superlatives. What we wanted was something comfortable and convenient, but not a resort; something real. We got it. And Kathy, the agent, is the consierge for the town, I think; a phone call or a quick walk/bike away. thanks for the memories.

Loved the house, the decor, the furnishings, the atmosphere and the 'In Mexico' feel. Everything that was suggested that we used was just fabulous. Would recommend this place to anyone. At no time did we feel unsafe or unwelcome. Kathy Hill was the best of the best... loved her...so helpful.. always there if we needed her.... Iris

Wow! Kathy Hill is positively the best property manager ever. Kathy answered emails very quickly with lots of essential and helpful information. Club Palmar 2 is located in a great location being very close to everything. The complex is VERY well cared for with beautiful Casas, gorgeous landscaping and a sparkling pool. Our Casa lacked nothing for our comfort and convenience. Kathy set us up with a wonderful local fisherman and his well cared for panga, for an excellent and productive day of fishing. We caught tuna, rooster fish, sea bass and several other types of fish. All of us felt that our day of fishing was a great success. Our visit to Loreto allowed us to enjoy a much slower pace in a beautiful setting. We hope to visit again and highly recommend Rentals Loreto for an enjoyable and positive experience.

I spent the winter in Loreto and fell in love with the town's charm, seascape and friendly people. Kathy was extremely helpful and quick to respond to my many questions and concerns prior to booking. As a single person I thought Geoff's apt was the best option for value and location. Upon arrival I was delighted to discover the owners had added a dining area making the apt. more open and spacious. The kitchen is adequately equipped, queen bed is comfy, bathroom is large and internet is included. The location is ideal, one block from the new malecon (ocean), 3 blocks from the town plaza and many restaurants and just steps from a little tienda. The apt is located within a gated compound and is very secure, the outdoor area is beautifully landscaped. There is a outdoor kitchen / BBQ area that is shared with the owners. Geoff and Leslie are gracious and friendly hosts and shared with all renters much of the fish they caught . Don't miss out on visiting the friendly whales in Magdalen

I had never visited Loreto before, but I knew I didn't want to stay in a hotel. I prefer rentals, as it feels more personable. Unsure about the town I used Rentals Loreto services. It was a very positive experience. From the moment we arrived all of our questions were answered and wonderful suggestions for restaurants and points of interests were suggested. Our stay in Santo Nino studio exceeded our expectations. The ammenities and hosts on the property were kind and genuine. The property is centrally located and on a very nice historic street with beautiful tree arches throughout the street. I would highly recommend this apartment and would absolutely stay here on my next visit to Loreto.

My husband and I stayed in Leslie's Studio April, May, and part of June, 2011. We enjoyed this big, 2nd floor studio with lots of windows very much. It was light and airy, the queen bed was very comfortable, the neighborhood was pretty quiet, and we liked having the use of the beautiful garden on the grounds next door. The location just a block from the Sea was perfect and you can walk to everything in Loreto from the Studio. Just up the street there is little market with most of what you'll need. We liked the arrangement where the bed was in a separate space which made the studio almost like a one-bedroom. The kitchen is pretty basic, but adequate and we ate most of our meals at the bar. Kathy, the rental agent, was very helpful and friendly.

We really enjoyed our time in Loreto. The house we stayed in was very nice, with lovely grounds, and a wonderful view from the palappa on the 3rd floor. The house was spacious and well furnished with the necessities and then some! Loreto itself is a treat as it isn't at all like the larger tourist destination. The town is easy to get around and the people are very helpful and friendly. Cathy Hill was very helpful and looked after the rental details as well as helping us out with many other things. She helped make our stay a great one. All in all we very much enjoyed all of our time there and might indeed return at some time in the future. Thank you for your help.

My husband and I stayed in Datil II, upstairs at Santo Nino, January, February and March, 2012, and we highly recommend it to everyone. It is in the perfect location for enjoying Loreto, just off the brick pedestrian walkway running between the Central Plaza and The Sea. It is a colorful, comfortable, light and airy home-away-from-home, the perfect jumping off point for Baja Sur adventures. The apartment is nestled into the grounds of the owners ancestral property right in the heart of Loreto, a block to the Sea, a block to the historic center of town. There are flower-filled gardens, patios, a tiled, out-door, Palapa kitchen great for parties and fish fries, a laundry area with plenty of storage for sports equipment, and parking for your boat and car. The apartment has Mexican tile everywhere, art, comfortable furniture, good Queen bed, big closet, dresser, desk, kitchen table, flat screen TV, A/C and ceiling fans and a long, tiled balcony.

We've just returned to WA after a wonderful 12 days in Loreto. The people, the scenery, the tranquility of it all will be luring us back again. Thank you Kathy for arranging our week at Sto. Nino. A beautiful home with very special hosts. It was great. Exploring, kayaking, fishing, hiking, whale watching, biking, with plenty of time to relax, filled our time. We stayed on the top floor suite of Villas del Santo Nino. It was a lovely place with lots of extra touches that made it seem like home rather than a "hotel". It's the absolutely perfect location in Loreto -- the town square and the Sea of Cortez a half block in either direction. The hosts, Francisco and Oralia live in a separate house on the same premises and were very friendly and helpful. Whenever we saw them, they stopped briefly to chat and to make sure we had everything we needed. In addition, Kathy, from Loreto Rentals was also great to work with! She responded quickly to emails and met us on our arrival at Santo Nino. Wonderful, charming, spacious cottage in the historic fishing village of Loreto. We loved this vacation! The cottage kitchen was well equipped, the beds as comfortable as my expensive mattress at home - I slept fantastic after enjoying the best made-from- scratch Mexican food in town. Numerous authentic Mexican places to eat a short walk away in town. This casa has a great location to easily walk to the marina and historic district in town. We enjoyed the pool just steps from the front of the cottage. We also enjoyed shopping at the various markets and again were able to walk easily to every desired destination. We rented a jeep one day to explore the interesting and beautiful surrounding area. Also rented the EL DON for three nights - fantastic! Gary Noland, owner was informative and organized - cottage clean, keys ready upon arrival! Hope to enjoy a vacation there again soon. Sandra Bierling, Colorado Springs, CO

This is a nice casita. It fits one perfectly and two a bit cozily, but that's okay because the malecon and beach are just a few minutes stroll away and you can hang out there. It's a 15 minute walk to the main drag where the bulk of the restaurants and shops are, but if you spend some time exploring the streets around the apartment, you'll find enough little tiendas - convenience stores, bakeries, tortillerillas - to satisfy your basic needs. If you walk to the main drag along the beach, it doesn't seem that far at all. Kathy provided all the basics and the apartment was very clean and comfortable.

Kathy was a wonderful host who went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Her husband booked snorkeling, fishing and squiding expeditions for us with locals who they knew and we slayed 'em fishing when others were getting skunked. Kathy was our guide on a trip to San Javier- a must do when there. Also, don't take the paved road, take the riverbed in your rental, much better. She booked all our excursions for us, priced well and very successful. we'd do it again.

"A haven of peace" Such a good idea. We have always rented in Europe for our holidays and took a gamble renting in Mexico! What a relief to find the same type of quality in Loretto. We spent just under a week relaxing and getting our feet before going kayaking. This was an ideal base. The accommodation is just right for two people and the bed is sooo cosy. "The right place for the right price" I found Loreto Rentals via an online search. I'm glad I chose it as I was staying there for a full month to try to thaw out from being in alaska. The Contreras apartments were perfect for me. Furnished with a comfy bed and living spaces including the kitchen it was just right. Loreto has a lot to offer. It is smack in the middle of the Baja Peninsula, so you can drive anywhere you want to and see some awesome sights. The San Javier Mission was peaceful and the drive there is fun as it winds up through the mountains. There is a nice little canyon hike there that starts with cave paintings. I did that one on my own. Sea kayaking and tagging turtles for data on how they are doing (my contact for the sea turtle tagging was Pancho Mayoral) in the Sea of Cortez are just a couple of the activities you can do in Loreto.

I found the apartment clean and fully functional for at least two people to stay in. It is close to the waterfront and is only walking distance to anywhere in town. Kathy made my experience a memorable one. If I needed more towels, she brought me her own towels. If someone needed chairs for their suite, she brought her own chairs. Kathy was very accomodating to her guests and has a guinine concern for her guests comfort. I would recommed this apartment complex for a single or for a couple.

This was a dreamy spacious retreat for us as a couple, and the little house is big enough that it would have also worked for a couple with 1-2 kids since it really is two big rooms plus a very serviceable kitchen (indeed I recommended it to friends with an 8 year old son) I hadn't fully realized before arriving that the little house is part of a larger compound, but there was abundant privacy & the walled compound doubtless made us more secure, and the compound owners are charming and full of useful info., plus they very generously invited us to use the fabulous grill and outdoor dining table in another corner of the compound (a greatly renovated complex from a former small boatyard). All-in-all, I thoroughly recommend this for others seeking a simple, easy, fun & well appointed getaway...& both the hosts and their friends plus Cathy were full of useful info about the best places to go for food, beach, boating etc. In other words, a rustic 4 star ****

Hi Kathy, We had a wonderful time in Loreto! I am looking at my funny skeleton lady with the orange feathers we bought in your store right now. Frank and I had a wonderful, realxing time in Loreto, and the Hugo House was the perfect place for us to stay for that. We really think it is the best place to stay in Loreto for a number of reasons. One is that it is in the first block off the malecon and the beach, and we like to get up early each morning for a walk on the beach to watch the sun rise over the mountains on Carmen Island - spectacular! We also like that it is far enough off of the malecon to be quiet and is only a few blocks from the plaza, so shopping and restaurants are all within a short walk. Chuco's store is just across the street for quick shopping for items like ice, juice, and the most wonderful little tamales that we like to eat for breakfast.
